Introduction

EJ Electrical Engineering Contractors are a leading Australian Electrical Contractor offering a range of services to the Defence, Marine, Oil & Gas, Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

Located in the Australian Marine Complex, Henderson, Western Australia, which is considered the hub of the Defence, Marine and Oil & Gas Industries.

EJ Electrical has been providing electrical design, manufacture, repair, refit and installation services to the marine industry for over 50 years. EJ Electrical Engineering Contractors were established in 1968 as an electrical and electronic engineering company, specialising in the commercial and marine defence sectors.

Facilities
The Company’s headquarters and operations base is located in the heart of the WA commercial shipbuilding industry in Henderson, Western Australia. This facility of approximately 1,200 sqm houses:
• Administration, procurement, design and quality assurance offices
• Material warehouse & cable store
• Switchboard manufacturing workshop
• Motor and generator overhaul and service centre
• Main workshops
• Circuit breaker & electrical testing bay

Key Functions
Since 1973 the company’s mainline operations have been commercial marine installations, industrial installations and maintenance; with defence maintenance and overhaul included in 1995. EJ Electrical has been providing a total service from design and installation through to commissioning and follow on maintenance. Other key functions include complete marine overhaul/refits of electrical machinery and systems, from trawlers through to tankers. EJ Electrical is also the Australian agent for HELKAMA ship wiring cable, Auto-Maskin engine monitoring & controls, and the Western Australian agent for Mastervolt power products.
